Composite Fillings
A composite filling is a tooth-colored plastic and glass mixture used to restore decayed teeth. Composite fillings are used to repair decayed, chipped or damaged teeth, the materials used can match your tooth shade to keep that natural look.
Endodontic Treatment (Root Canal)
A root canal is required if a tooth has a large area of decay, is fractured or has infection which compromises the living tissue of the tooth. The procedure involves cleaning and sealing the canals of the tooth to prevent further problems. It is recommended to restore the root canaled tooth with a crown, or bridge to provide strength and support for the best long term result.
Surgical Extractions
Surgical extractions may be required for a number of reasons such as teeth beyond repair, unresolved infections, wisdom teeth and overcrowding for orthodontic treatment. Lose of teeth can require replacement, with crowns, bridges and implant treatment. We will work with you to determine the best treatment available for your needs.
Crowns
Crowns are an excellent option for heavily restored or root canaled teeth providing strength and long lasting effects. Crowns are used on teeth that are broken or severely decayed and where fillings are no longer an option. They are made of different types materials such as porcelain which provides a natural looking tooth and protects and strengthens your bite.
Bridges
Bridges are much like crowns except they are used for replacing one or more missing teeth. They help to prevent drifting and rotation of the teeth surrounding the space. This procedure involves covering teeth on both of the space with crowns which are connected to a crown that fills the space also. Bridges are permanently fixed and help to maintain the function of your bite, like your natural teeth.
Dentures and Partial Dentures
Dentures are removable appliances that replace all or some of the natural teeth. Appliances replacing all the teeth are called Complete Dentures and only some of the teeth are called Partial Dentures. These appliances are made to look and feel similar to natural teeth. Dentures can help to improve eating habits by proper chewing, and support to enhance your smile, we work with you to achieve your individual needs.
Whitening
We offer whitening to all patients in our office. Impressions are taken to make molds of your teeth, we fabricate whitening trays for you and provide you with a bleaching solution to take home. Instruction will be given to you by one of our team members, as well as other types of bleaching you may be interested in.
Sedation
Sedation is available for patients with dental anxiety, young patients and those receiving extensive treatment such as wisdom teeth removal. We offer oral sedation and nitrous for patients that need something to help calm them and make them more comfortable while still being conscious, as well as general anesthetic which patients are not awake. Together we can decide which will work best for you.
